Spell Checker for Visual Studio 2005

Due to my atocious spelling ;) I have been looking for a spell checker that will work inside Visual Studio for HTML and ASPX pages.

I have installed Mikhail Arkhipov’s Spell checker for ASP.NET

Mikhail Arkhipov (MSFT)’s WebLog : Spell Checker for HTML and ASP.NET pages

Whilst it is useful it does have the following limitations:
1) It uses your MS word spell checker yet appears only to use the US dictionary despite my languge and region settings being UK.
2) It only works in source view (a great feature would be if it could check the output in Design view)
3) If you have a word that sits directly next to a HTML character entity e.g. ‘toggle’ it flags it as an error.

I think I’ll keep looking for the perfect spell checker here – or one that at least approaches Dreamweaver’s….
